He started Monstober in 2016 as an October drawing challenge dedicated entirely to monsters and the darker side of art. He has been part of Monstober since its earliest years. After discovering the challenge in 2016, he completed his first full Monstober in 2017 and has returned for every edition since. Joined Monstober in 2017 and has been a recurring participant ever since. Working under the name Adverse-Art, Patrick regularly puts his own spin on the prompts, often connecting them to characters and creatures from comics, film and popular culture. David has been taking part in Monstober since 2020. Working in both digital and traditional media, his art ranges from original characters and creatures to pop-culture and fantasy subjects. Evgheni has taken part in Monstober since 2020, returning to the challenge with his own interpretations of the yearly prompts. Based in Istanbul, he works primarily in digital illustration and painting, with a portfolio spanning character art, comics and genre-based projects. His professional work includes official Star Wars sketch cards for Topps, as well as cover and variant artwork for comic publications. Becky is a horror artist from Maine who has been working in both traditional and digital media for more than two decades. Her work focuses heavily on monsters, unsettling characters and visually dark subject matter, often moving between illustration, painting and digital techniques. Oliver Take is a Brazilian artist who has been participating in Monstober since 2018. Growing up surrounded by superhero comics and newspaper strips, he developed an early love for visual storytelling. Chantal has been drawing on and off since her teenage years, always returning to it despite periods of doubt and uncertainty about her own work. Over time, drawing has remained a way for her to challenge herself, explore ideas and keep creating even when confidence does not come easily. Larry has been participating in Monstober since 2019, using the challenge as a way to experiment with unusual characters and push himself to create regularly. He often works in watercolor and typically sets aside around an hour for each piece, giving his Monstober entries a direct, spontaneous quality.
